This policy is for legendmemoria.org and for the web tools of Legends of the Game, including the Adventurer's Ledger.
Summary
- We do not have accounts, and we do not collect your name, email address or character data.
- Our web tools save your data in your own browser. We cannot see this data.
- We count clicks on wiki links in the Adventurer's Ledger. The count does not identify you.
- We plan to show advertisements on some pages. We will never show advertisements in the Adventurer's Ledger.
Data saved in your browser
The Adventurer's Ledger saves your characters and your progress in the local storage of your browser. That is why your data is still there when you reload the page. Local storage is not a cookie, and the Ledger does not send this data to us or to any other server.
Your data stays on one device and in one browser. If you clear the data of the website in your browser, your data is deleted. Use Download backup in the Ledger to keep a copy.
The studio hub, the plugin list and this page do not save data in your browser.
Cookies
At this time, our pages do not set cookies. When advertisements start, the advertisement service can set cookies. See Advertisements.
Wiki link click counts
Some links in the Adventurer's Ledger go to the Final Fantasy XIV community wiki (ffxiv.consolegameswiki.com). These links go first through our counter at go.legendmemoria.org, which then sends you to the wiki page.
For each click, the counter records only:
- the date (UTC)
- the title of the wiki page
- the number of clicks on that page that day
The counter does not record your IP address, a cookie, the page that you came from or your browser type. We use the counts to learn which wiki pages are useful to players.
The counter runs on Cloudflare. Cloudflare receives each request to operate and protect its service. For more information, read the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Advertisements
At this time, no page shows advertisements. We plan to show advertisements from Google AdSense on the studio hub and on the challenge tracker pages.
We will never show advertisements in the Adventurer's Ledger. An advertisement script could read the page, and the Ledger promises that your data does not leave your browser.
Before advertisements start, we will update this page. The update will tell you which cookies Google uses, how to give or refuse consent, and how to turn off personalised advertisements.
Data from other websites
The collection lists in the Adventurer's Ledger (mounts, minions and other items) come from FFXIV Collect. We download this data when we build the Ledger, and the data is part of the Ledger's own files. Your browser does not connect to FFXIV Collect when you use the Ledger.
Hosting
GitHub Pages hosts this website. When you open a page, GitHub receives your IP address and other usual request data. GitHub uses this data to operate and protect the service. For more information, read the GitHub General Privacy Statement.
Links to other websites
Our pages have links to other websites, for example GitHub, itch.io, Ko-fi and the community wiki. When you follow a link, the policy of that website applies.
Dalamud plugins
Our plugins run in the game on your computer. They save their data on your computer and do not send it to us.
Time Memoria downloads our own news feed, ffxiv-latest-news. We make this feed from the news and maintenance notices on the official Lodestone, and we keep it on GitHub. Your game and Time Memoria do not connect to the Lodestone. This download sends no data about you or your characters. GitHub receives the request in the same way as it does for this website.
Changes
If we change what we collect, we will update this page at least 48 hours before the change starts. If an urgent problem, for example a security problem, does not give us 48 hours, we will update this page as soon as we can.
If a change moves a tool to a new address, the old copy of the tool stays available for 6 days after the change. Use these 6 days to move your data. For example, open the old copy and use Download backup.
The date at the top of this page shows the last change.
